Hello, we are so glad you have taken the time to look at our website. I am Pastor Roger Henry and I am the pastor here at Trinity UMC. I have been married to Doris for 32 years. We have three grown children and grandchildren, who keep us very busy.
I came to know the power of walking with the Lord when I was twenty one and it has been a fantastic adventure ever since. My passion for ministry is to help build a Body of Christ that will offer opportunities to help people to grow in their faith and find exciting ways to serve the Lord.
My hobby has been going on mission trips. This has led to traveling all over the United States, and to Africa, Russia and Guatemala. On each trip I have had the blessing of traveling with many youth and adults from the churches I have been serving. These trips have been so life changing that they helped several young and young at heart people to go into long term ministry in many places around the world.
We hope you will join us for worship and any of the other exciting ministries you will read about on our website. We offer a traditional worship service at 8:30 am every Sunday, with Biblically based messages that provide ways for us to grow in our faith. This is followed by a wonderful fellowship time, to help us get to know one another. At 10:50 am we offer a contemporary service with the same Biblically based messages that help us grow in our faith!
Sunday school is offered at 9:45 am and there are classes from all age groups from nursery through adult. Youth group for grades K–8th is offered every Wednesday evening from 6:00-7:00 pm, followed by High School Youth at 7:00 pm. We hope to see you soon. If you have any questions please contact Pastor Roger at 641-799-5334 or the church office at 641-932-7393.
Hi, my name is Camille Stocker, my husband Richard and I moved to a small acreage in the Albia area in 2008. We love being back in the country and in the Albia community, the friendliest town we have lived in! I love the Lord, and serving Him through ministry is a dream come true! I joined the staff at Trinity in February 2016, but have been a part of the church family at Trinity since 2009, teaching Bible study and Sunday School. Serving at Trinity on staff is a great opportunity to bless others and use the gifts and abilities God has given me.
When I'm not working I love to read, watch Christian movies, quilt, knit and crochet; making things and giving them away to bless others is a great joy to me! I enjoy sitting out on our deck and just looking at the amazing view we have also. I enjoy playing my guitar but don't seem to find much time and also have a banjo which I would love to learn how to play. Family is very important to us; we have 2 adult children who are both married and they both live out of state so any time we can be together is cherished. I also value true friendship and enjoying sitting and talking about the things of the Lord with others.

I presently direct the Chancel Choir, the Chimers Bell Choir, soloists and instrumentalists, as well as three children's choirs (Joyful Noise, Carol Choir, and Lil' Praisers.) I also provide music for special Trinity events. My husband, Kim, and I have two daughters and 4 grandchildren. Our hobbies include boating, tennis, following sports teams and going to Christian concerts and movies.
Arlene Swenson Custodian
Hi I am Arlene Swenson, my husband Dick and I live on a farm outside of Albia where we raise purebred and crossbred show pigs for 4-H and FFA kids. We stay busy with our farming operation and I balance our farm work with my ministry position at Trinity. Dick and I have 3 children and 4 grandchildren and cherish family, when we can get together with them all. We stay busy, between my responsibilities at Trinity and the work on our farm, paperwork is a big one! I joined the staff at Trinity in 1999 as the church custodian and continue to enjoy the work I do for the Lord each day. Along with working at Trinity, I also teach an adult Sunday School class each week. When I have any free time I love to read and enjoy working in my garden and flower beds.
